Welcome to the photography website of Alan Neal. Alan, a native to Georgia, has spent more than 10 years capturing the elements that make the North Georgia Landscape uniquely attractive.
Alan graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
Career History (Surveying)
Spent 2 years working in the north Georgia mountains as support for Martin & Norton Surveying, Wilson Land Surveying, and Kuykendall Land Surveying, performing both field and office duties.
Career History (Engineering)
Alan began his engineering career at LRE Engineering, Inc.(which was acquired shortly after by Dames & Moore and then URS corporation) in Midtown Atlanta in 1997. Hughes, Good, O'Leary, and Ryan worked with ESE, Inc. to open up an engineering company to provide immediate engineering support on various projects, which Alan joined the ranks of. There, Alan was able to epand his role into land planning and began learning photoshop to perform minor work and renderings.
In 2002, due to the slowdown in commercial markets and the advancing housing market, Alan left ESE, Inc. and joined Gaskins Surveying & Engineering in Marietta, Georgia. Here, Alan honed his rendering skills. He continued to pursue a career managing the various necessary land planning and engineering components for residential projects.
In 2005, Alan joined Moore Bass Consulting to open a branch office in Cumming, Georgia where he is currently employed. During the time at Moore Bass Consulting, Alan has been able to utilize his photoshop skills to create new and unique photorealistic plan renderings.
